Who can apply for Special Nonprofit Event License? A nonprofit organization that is registered and in good standing with the South Carolina Secretary of State as a domestic nonprofit organization can apply for a Special Nonprofit Event License. A Special Nonprofit Event is an event where a nonprofit organization solicits and accepts donations of alcohol to be sold for on-premises consumption.

The Special Nonprofit Event License TNL allows manufacturers vintners, brewpubs, breweries, microbrewers, importers, distillers, and micro-distillers and wholesalers licensed in this state to donate product to the organization that has received a Special Nonprofit Event License.
